My name is Brooke Harbinson, I am a third year student at the University of Guelph-Humber for Early Childhood Studies. I have worked with many different children in a variety of settings growing up, and I knew from a young age I wanted to work with children. Working with children is so rewarding as you are there to help support them and watch them grow. When I graduate I want to look into becoming a Play Therapist as I want to continue to help children so they can become the best version of themselves. Throughout this OER I hope you can find positive effects of technology use for your children, but also become aware of the possible negative effects and what to look out for.

My name is Leah Taylor and I am a Third Year Early Childhood student at the University of Guelph - Humber. I have always been passionate about working with children and I knew I wanted to go into this field since I was in Kindergarten. I believe Early Childhood is important because it builds a foundation for children’s learning throughout the rest of their lives and is a critical period for children’s overall development. When I am not in school, I love listening to music, exercising, baking and travelling. I hope this OER can be beneficial to readers and support their future practice. Enjoy! 

My name is Nicole Campos, I am a second-year student at the University of Guelph-Humber, and I am enrolled in the Early Childhood Studies Program. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for working with children and have been told by many people in my life that I have such a strong connection when it comes to working with children. After I graduate from UofGH , I plan on applying to teachers’ college, where I can then become an elementary school teacher. I hope to one day impact the lives of so many children, and help enhance their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. I hope you all learn something and enjoy exploring our OER!

Hi, I'm Mikaela. I am a third-year student in the Early Childhood Studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber. I am very passionate about working with children and have wanted to become a teacher since I was 4 years old. Some of my interests beyond early childhood would be traveling as I've been to 20 countries. After Guelph-Humber I will be applying to teacher's college so I can fulfill my dream of becoming a Kindergarten teacher.
